Handgun PIN Shoot
The pin shoots are scheduled from May through October. The handgun Pin Shoots are held one Sunday per month. Please check the club’s calendar on the website for when these events are scheduled.
There are two stages for this event. The first stage is with a center-fire handgun. Most shooters use semiautomatics, although some use revolvers with great success. Center fire calibers may be 38 spec.,9mm, 40, 45 ACP, 10mm, and 45 Colt, (no Magnum calibers). You are allowed 3 magazines with 8 rounds in each. You will be shooting at full-size bowling pins and the pin must leave the table to count.
The second stage is with a rimfire handgun. You are allowed 3 magazines with 8 rounds in each. You will be shooting at bowling pin tops and the pin need only to be knocked over.
These events are a lot of fun for all levels of marksmanship. For anyone who has not participated in one of these events before we will give personal instruction and a practice round before the start of the competition.
